Overview
KapsL is an Android launcher that lets you organize apps into focus capsules, manage access to apps, and reduce distracting notifications. This Privacy Policy explains what information KapsL handles and how it is used.
Personal Information
KapsL does not require you to create an account and does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, contacts, messages, photos, or precise location.
Analytics
KapsL uses Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used, improve features, fix issues, and measure overall app performance. Firebase Analytics may collect app interaction events, device and app information, crash or diagnostic information, and approximate usage patterns.
Analytics data is used in aggregate to improve KapsL. It is not used by KapsL to identify you personally, sell your information, or build advertising profiles.
App Data Stored on Your Device
KapsL may store your launcher preferences on your device, such as capsule names, selected apps, colors, wallpapers, schedules, and PIN settings. This information is used to provide the launcher experience and remains part of the app's local functionality unless a feature explicitly requires another service.
Permissions
KapsL may request Android permissions needed for launcher functionality, including default launcher access, notification access, and permission to post notifications.
Notification access is used to support KapsL's notification filtering features. KapsL does not use notification access to collect message content for advertising or sale.
Third-Party Services
KapsL uses Firebase, a Google service, for analytics and diagnostics. Firebase may process certain device, app, and usage information according to Google's policies and controls.
Data Sharing
KapsL does not sell personal information. Analytics and diagnostic information may be processed by Firebase/Google to provide analytics and app-improvement services.
Children's Privacy
KapsL is not directed to children under 13. KapsL does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. When it changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
